About

I am an associate professor in the department of University Studies for Middle Tennessee State University.  I teach math and statistics  for the department of University Studies   My current research interest is in statistics education and the flipped (or inverted) classroom, (the newest iteration being Explore-Flip-Apply).  I have given several workshops and presentations on teaching with technology. I teach courses that range from Elementary algebra to Graduate Statistics. Here is my abbreviated vita.

On my days off, I enjoy skiing, racquetball, Frisbee golf, and cycling. I am also a rabid Lost fan.  Most of all I enjoy spending time with my wife, Donnetta, and three daughters, Mandy,  Heidi, and Lucy.
